Super Smash Bros.

A very unique fighter that breaks all the rules, and just happens to feature two Pokémon (and a handful of others as items).

The Pokéfactor (Pokémon influence in non-pokémon games): We get two Pokémon as fighters, Pikachu and Jigglypuff (what? No beating your opponent to death with the marker?!?), and numerous other Pokémon as items and in the Pokémon stage (the voltorb almost always seems to take somone with it.)

Gameplay: Unlike other fighting games where the object is to do enough damage to a character to KO it, it SSB, you try to knock your opponent out of the arena. This is made much more interesting by the wide array of items availible. However, one player mode offers little depth.

3.6

Graphics: The graphics in SSB move at a solid 60 fps, yet still look very good color-wise. Also, the stages are well-detailed and even have cameos, but sometimes you can lose your place.

Music & Sound: Very Good. Each stage has that game's theme in it, and all work very well.

3.8

Play Control: Thanks to the game's total non-use of up-left-right-down-YMCA combos, control is very intuitive and the only person you can usually blame is yourself. Even blocking is fairly easy.
