Universal Pokémon Network

Why it's dysfunctional: UPNetwork is a very good source of info, but it takes forever to load. This is because it uses small images to fill in solid colors. As a result, the computer must repeatedly process the same graphic over and over, slowing things way down.

Recently, UPNetwork switched from regular text to style sheets. Here's the problem:

You may say, "it doesn't look like that on my computer!" And in all probability it doesn't. There's a technical difference between Macs and PCs that makes some otherwise legible text appear too small on a Mac. However, this problem is completely avoidable. The size of a font can be set to a specific pixel size, such as I do on this site.

Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo from the bottom of my heart, but this site uses flash so gratuitously it crashes my computer. Granted, it has nice features, but its processor demands are just too much.
