Pester Balls

One of the most annoying aspects of being a webmaster is getting tons of requests beyond what you can fulfill-or take. Often times, people ask for things, and won't listen when you say no. For example, there was a Pokémaster contestant (who shall also remain nameless) asked to use Lugia as a call-a-character. Now, don't go thinking I hate this person (because I don't), but I had to go through a big long sequence on why the person couldn't have it.

Another problem arises from the fact that I used to run a site about the Mario comics. At least once a week, it seems I get a letter asking where you can get Mario books and comics. Since I haven't worked on that site for almost a year, you'd think the mail would stop, but no!

So why am I telling you this. Don't get me wrong-I love you people (especially those of you who visit every day)! Just remember that you also need to respect us webmasters. It's a tougher job than you think. Who knows, maybe someday you'll be a webmaster, and you'll have to deal with people critically without alienating them. Good luck!
