Preface

No one ever thought an electric mouse could be the idol of every kid in America, but it is. No one ever thought anyone would bother looking for a guy with glasses, a cane, a striped shirt, and bobble hat, but they do. No one may think I'm big news now, but just wait.

When they're growing up, most kids worry about money, food, and toys. I wanted my own little (okay, big) slice of the world. In this book you'll learn about my obsessions, my passions, my gifts and my shortcomings, and like it or not, you'll probably learn something. After all, life isn't about the accumulation of wealth, but the sharing of it.

Before we get started: Don't take yourself (or this book) too seriously. If you try to follow it too hard, you'll end up in a white building in a room with padded walls. Besides, nobody's perfect. So, strap on your safety belt, put on your helmet, and oh yeah-buy something in the gift shop on your way out, okay?
