PokŽtalk for Sunday, September 19, 1999

Hello, it's Steven Reich speaking, and this is PokŽtalk for  Sunday, September 19th, 
1999!

Well, another week, another, marathon. Keep this up and we'll be stuck with the 
"PokŽmon whose names start  with 'L'" Marathon. This time it was Gym leaders, 
culminating in the new episodes featuring Blaine.

Starting this Monday, Kids' WB will start featuring new episodes on weekday 
afternoons. Unfortunately, it has not been specified which episode will be new.

In movie news, Kids' WB has released a new, full PokŽmon Trailer. Unfortunately, due to
 previously (as in the first PokŽtalk or so) mentioned computer limitations, I have no 
clue what's going on with it. Apparently, however, there is some link up with the 
collectible card game.

And now, a commercial.

Steve: We're all gonna die!

In the most recent poll, "Which PokŽmon character in most in need of psychiatric help, 
the most popular choice by far was those girls who follow Gary.

Okay, time for me to get opinionated. This week, Sony has announced the specs for its 
new console. While most of the specs are good, two glaring problems are its two 
controller ports, and its price, which is about equal to $360. Yikes.

And finally, been wondering what those aliens in the Team Rocket video were? Well, 
you'll find out next weekend.
